Adding a Shortcut to the Act Menu Bar

When you use Act all day long it is nice to be able to simplify a repetitive task. For example, looking up a contact by his or her first name. Sure, you can click on look up and then first name, but I’m going to show you an easier way.

When you use software during the day, whether it be Microsoft Outlook or Act, you should occasionally ask yourself this question: is there an easier way?

Software engineers quite often think about every possible scenario of what a software user would want to do. However, they don’t always do a great job explaining what those options are and showing you how to do it. Here is an example of that.
