by | Dec 27, 2020 | ACT CRM Software Tips and Tricks

So you just received an email in Microsoft Outlook and you want to add the sender of that email to Act as a contact.  How do you do it?

Act has a built-in tool that helps you add a contact to act.   On the assumption that you have configured this properly, this is how it is supposed to work.

This is How to create a contact in Act from a Microsoft Outlook email

I strongly urge my clients to make sure all of their contacts are in one place. Act users should make sure that emails they receive from contacts that they want to keep are eventually transferred into act. By having the contact in act you can manage that contact much more efficiently than you can in Outlook.

Over the next few weeks I will be conducting a series of tutorials on Act and Microsoft outlook. In this tutorial I will show you how to use a tool that works between Act and Microsoft Outlook to add the sender of an email directly to act. I will also try to identify some of the pros and cons of this approach in some of the things you need to consider when using this approach. Enjoy.
