1. Open Handheld Contact on Your Device:

- You’ll see your dashboard or home screen, and a little sync icon (a circular arrow) will be present.
- Click on this icon to start syncing.
2. Click ‘Sync Now’:
- A new window will pop up.
- Click on “Sync Now” at the bottom to bring in all your information.
3. Option to Download All Information:
- You may wish to download all your information again.
- Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
- Select “Download All” to download all your contacts and information.
Exporting Contacts to Address Book (Example: iPhone)
Once your contacts are in Handheld Contact, you might want to move them to the address book on your device (e.g., iPhone). This ensures the caller ID works properly.
Step-by-Step Process:
- Click the Arrow Icon: On the dashboard, look for a white arrow in a green circle. Click on it.
- Select Import and Export Contacts: A box will pop up on the right. Click on “Import and Export Contacts.”
- Choose Contacts Export: Click on “Contacts Export.”
- Select Your Export Options: You have four options:
- Export all your contacts.
- Update your exported contacts.
- Delete all contacts added by Handheld Contact.
- Delete all contacts (if you want to start fresh).
- Reminder of Duplicates: If you have multiple ways of getting contacts, you might see duplicates. Click OK.
Results:
Your contacts will now be transferred from Act to Handheld Contact and then into your native address book on your device.
