Please note the following:

  • Current versions can be found at www.act.com/downloads and updates at www.act.com/resources/downloads 
  • Act! Versions v17 and older can be downloaded and installed, but can no longer be activated. Accordingly, these versions can only be used for the 30-day trial period only.
  • When installing versions 18.2 or newer, be sure to have your workstation connected to the internet so it can receive the licensing updates required to activate your software. Version 18.2 – 21 could be using the old protexis licensing service, which is no longer operating, but updates to the Soroco licensing system will be sent via slipstream during the installation process if and internet connection is available.

Older Versions of Act: Out of Warranty (Act Obsolescence Policy)

FYI: Act! Versions v17 and older can be downloaded and installed, but can no longer be activated. Accordingly, these versions can only be used for the 30-day trial period only.  You cannot buy these older versions of Act.  If you find these on sites that offer old versions, they can be installed, however, they can’t be registered.  Therefore, they will stop working after 30 days.  I have a solution, contact me.  Tony Holowitz: 781-728-9777.
