How do you delete a note in ACT CRM?

In this tutorial I will show you how to delete a note in act. There might be times when you would prefer to delete something that you’ve already point in a note in act. This tutorial will show you how to delete one note or multiple notes.

Hi, ladies and gentlemen, this is Tony Holowitz, and I want to talk to you about deleting notes or a note. What I want you to observe is right now, we are on the, my record. And for those of you that don’t know what the, my record is. It’s your contact information in act. When you open up act, you will immediately go to the, my record, which is all of your contact information. So we’re at the, my record or my information. And I want you to observe down below, we have three notes right down here. Well, one of the things I can do is if I got a note, let’s say, note, number one, I want to get rid of, well, I clicked on it. And now on my keyboard, if I hit the delete key, I can delete that note and it’s gonna prompt me and say, Hey, do I want to delete this?

I’m gonna click cancel. Because, if I clicked, okay, it would be gone. I’m gonna click cancel. But I also wanna show you another thing. If I click on the first note and then I’m gonna hold the control key down and click on the third note, I have selected two notes. Now, if I want to delete those two notes, I can delete those two notes by deleting them by hitting the delete key on my keyboard. Again, I’m gonna hit cancel, let’s say there were multiple notes and in a row that you wanted to do, we’ll click on the first note in the order, hold the shift key down and click on the last note and they’re all selected. So now if I hit delete, I can delete all three notes. Okay. So I haven’t deleted this only because I’m gonna use this as an example in previous in more tutorials, but I just wanted to show you how you could do that. My name is Tony Holowitz. Have a great day.
