Act Software Error Message: Administrator Level Access is Required to Register this Product

If you are attempting to register your Act software and you receive an error message saying you must be an administrator, it is typically an easy fix.

This is an easy one. In fact, after you see how easy this is to resolve you are going to  wonder why the error message just didn’t say this.  To register your software simply close Act and reopen it in a slightly different way. Typically you double-click on the Act icon to open it. This time, I want you to right-click on the Act icon and choose the option that says run as administrator. When Act opens, simply register the software. If the registration prompt does not open automatically, click on help and then choose register Act.
