How to Register Act CRM Software

I love software engineers and the way they communicate with software users. If you are trying to register your Act software and you get an error message that says you must be an administrator to register Act, here is the simple fix.

If Act is currently open, close Act. Next, right click on the Act icon and choose run as administrator. When Act opens, simply register the software. That’s it. Easy.

Hi ladies and gentlemen, this is Tony Holowitz. And I wanna show you a quick little trick on how to register act. If you are a new act user, after a period of time, you might be asked within the 30 day period of installing act to register your act software. When you go to register the software, quite often, you’re confronted with the issue of you have to be an administrator to register act. Now on the surface, that can seem a little daunting, cuz you don’t know how you’re set up on your computer or how to get around this. But it’s actually a very, very simple solution. You’ll notice that I have the act icon right on my desktop here. All you have to do is to register your software fax currently open, simply close act next, find the act icon. And instead of just clicking on it or double clicking with the left mouse, I’m gonna have you click on it with the right mouse button.

And when you do that, you’ll notice there’s an option right here that says run as administrator. That’s all you have to do. Click on, run as administrator. It will open act and then you’ll be able to register your software. That’s it really simple. Sometimes I love software engineers cuz I don’t know why they couldn’t have just put that in the air message. Hey, you’re not an administrator shut act, right? Click on the icon and do run as administrator. They could have done that. It would’ve been so easier. I don’t know.
